At Pi Sigma Epsilon, we believe that giving back to the community is an important part of our organization’s mission. That’s why we are committed to supporting a variety of philanthropic causes and organizations through our community service and fundraising efforts.
Our philanthropy work is organized by our Vice President of Community Relations, Abby McAnerney, who works closely with our members to identify and plan events and activities that support our chosen causes. We typically support organizations that align with our values and mission, such as those focused on education, career development, and youth empowerment.
Some of the philanthropic causes and organizations we have supported in the past include:
- Jessy’s Toy Box
- My Sisters Place
- HAPCAP (Hocking, Athens, and Perry Community Action Plan)
- Habitat for Humanity
- The American Red Cross
We also organize and participate in various community service events and activities throughout the year, including:
- Participating in community clean-up and beautification efforts
- Supporting local fundraising events and activities
- And much more!
At Pi Sigma Epsilon, we believe that our philanthropy work not only benefits the community, but also helps our members develop important skills and values such as teamwork, leadership, and empathy. We are proud of our commitment to giving back and making a positive impact in the world.
We support many different originations. To learn more about some of the specific events we put on, please click the links below:
