Welcome to Pi Sigma Epsilon – Eta Pi’s My Sister’s Place page!
My Sister’s Place is a nonprofit organization in Athens, Ohio that provides support and services to survivors of domestic violence and their families. At Pi Sigma Epsilon, we are proud to support this important organization and to help raise awareness about the issue of domestic violence in our community.
Our partnership with My Sister’s Place began several years ago, when we first learned about the organization’s mission and the impact it was having on the community. We were inspired by the dedication and passion of the organization’s staff and volunteers, and knew that we wanted to get involved and support their efforts in any way we could.
Since then, we have worked closely with My Sister’s Place to organize fundraising events and to spread awareness about the organization and its mission. Our members are deeply committed to this cause, and we are always looking for new and innovative ways to support My Sister’s Place and the survivors of domestic violence it serves.
In March 2023, we were able to hold a supply drive for My Sister’s Place and collect over $150 in donations! Here are some photos:
Some of the ways we support My Sister’s Place include:
- Hosting fundraising events on campus and in the community to raise money and collect donations for the organization
- Partnering with local businesses and organizations to collect donations and raise awareness about the issue of domestic violence
- Holding supply drives for My Sister’s Place
